Wildlife Thrives at The Greenline at Shelby Farms Park
This impressive stretch of green is not maintained by tax dollars. It thrives on the support of great Memphis residents like you.
The trail is paved and runs from Tillman St. at Walnut Grove Rd. in Midtown to Farm Rd. at Mullins Station Rd. at Shelby Farms Park. You can access the trail at eight different points near Tillman Street., Highland Street, High Point Terrace, Graham Street, Waring Road, Podesta Street, Sycamore View Road, and Farm Road at Shelby Farms Park.
So what’s the big deal?
The park provides habitat to a variety of wildlife, with the forest, meadows and pine woods attracting more than 200 species of birds, bobcats, deer, reptiles, rabbits, minks, fish, muskrats, beavers, squirrels, and foxes in the heart of one of America’s largest urban parks.
More than 1 million people can access Shelby Farms Park with a 20-minute drive. They all come to hike and bike the trails, ride horses, play disc golf and enjoy many other outdoor activities.
